The original, centuries-old (more than 400 years old) image of St. Anne and child Mary is currently enthroned at the middle altar of the church. Due to tight security, the image never left the altar-vault even during fiestas. For the knowledge of others, the image wears a solid gold vestment.
There is a replica image that is also antique. This is the image used during the fluvial procession (Santa Anang Banak). Fortunate enough, the elders agreed to bring us inside the convent to see the latter. However, meeting the parish priest wasn't a good experience. The priest was arrogant and not accommodating. He asked us several questions, but didn't even bother to look at us. I am just thankful that I was able to see Santa Ana.
