Linggo ng Pasasalamat is the secondary fiesta of the town of Tanza, Cavite in honor of the town's patron, San Agustin or fondly known as Tata Usteng by many. My arrival at the Tanza Church was very timely. The image of Tata Usteng was brought out of His altar and put mounted on His Carozza. Tata Usteng's vestment and mitre were taken off before he was put on the carozza. The carozza was brought inside the church for the mass. I wasn't able to witness the procession since I needed to head back to Indang for dinner. Here are some photos of Tata Usteng. |
