The Ati-atihan Fiesta for Sr. Santo Niño de Kalibo was an amazing experience. I started my day right by attending the morning mass. Before the mass, the image of Sr. Santo Niño de Kalibo was transferred from His chapel to the stage in front of the cathedral. After the solemn mass, drumbeats filled the air as dancers from different tribes danced to the Señor. Devotees carry their Niños up in the air for the blessing. The merrymaking lasted the entire day, while the religious procession was held in the afternoon followed by the pahalik. Here are some photos of and a short video clip of the fiesta.
